Mattoangin Stadium is a modern stadium which its architectural concept derived from Pinisi Ship, representing Makassar people’s ancestors--the great sailors. It can accommodate up to 40 thousand spectators and it is designed according to FIFA standards.

 

The Stadium is surrounded by 7,013.52 m2 green area that is integrated with rainwater harvesting and zero run-off system. The plumbing system recycles rainwater, condensate water, grey and black water for flushing and irrigation--and contributes to  the stadium’s water consumption up to 86.36%. 40kv solar panels supports 2.9%’s building energy use.

 

The building uses high performance VRF air conditioning and other features as listed below that contributes to up to 30.00% energy saving.
