A hospital is a multi-functional building essential in the healthcare system, providing comprehensive facilities for the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of patients through both inpatient and outpatient services. These buildings typically house various medical specialization units, procedure rooms such as operating theaters and emergency departments, advanced diagnostic facilities like laboratories and radiology, patient care rooms with varying levels of intensity, as well as support areas encompassing administration, pharmacy, logistics, and waiting rooms designed to create a safe and conducive environment for patient recovery and the efficient work of medical staff.

The hospital's facade design prioritizes soft and directional lighting to prevent light pollution (light trespass and glare) that could disturb patient care areas. The placement of exterior lights and the use of indirect lighting also aim to highlight natural elements in the healing garden, creating calming visual focal points that support the patient recovery process.

The hospital's interior implements a lighting design that considers health and comfort. Patient rest areas utilize a warm light spectrum to support circadian rhythms and melatonin production, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Meanwhile, medical staff work areas are equipped with a natural white spectrum to enhance focus and alertness. Cleanliness is a priority, with the selection of minimalist accent lighting in patient and treatment rooms. For children's areas, playful elements are introduced through unique colors and light effects to evoke cheerfulness and reduce anxiety.
